Our Pastor

In every house of God, there is an “angel” of the church.  He needs to be anointed by God, by no initiative of his own, but by true appointment and guidance from God.    Pastor Jack Gibson is our “angel”.  A leader for such a time as this.

Pastor Gibson seeks to provide spiritual direction to the members of Disciples of Christ Church, as they develop their Christian walk.  He is honest, sincere and compassionate. He understands that in order to be effective, he must have a vision from God.  Pastor Gibson has obtained that Vision and is administering it to his spiritual children, here at Disciples of Christ.  Pastor Gibson supports positive and loving relationships with all petitioners’, while dedicated to their understanding of fulfillment of their natural and spiritual needs.

Pastor Gibson’s desire is to wins souls, while teaching them the Word of God, resulting in abundant life.  With a focus on fasting and effectual prayer, Pastor Gibson and the Disciples of Christ Church continue to experience abundant life!

Our First Lady

First Lady Subrena and Pastor Gibson was married in 1974, and blessed with three wonderful children and twelve grandchildren, First Lady Gibson has always been ready and willing to be used by God.  Wearing many hats, First Lady received her spiritual training at Solomon’s Temple, Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ.  First Lady Gibson currently serves as Altar Worker, Missionary, and Vice President of the Sisterhood.  She also serves as Treasurer of the Michigan Southern Diocese, Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

When asked, First Lady Gibson expresses her desire to, “be used by God in whatever capacity He so desires.”  First Lady Gibson’s favorite scripture is Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
